The Campustown area of Ames has numerous dining venues within a 1-3 block walk from Carver Hall with options ranging from Brazilian to barbecue. The conference hotel, the Gateway, has its own restaurant. The broader city of Ames has many other eateries that offer almost every kind of cuisine in pleasant atmospheres at affordable prices.
