Family Travel Grants for the North American Annual Meeting
The ASL is offering a small number of travel grants of up to $250 each for ASL members who plan to attend the North American Annual Meeting in Ames, IA with their families. These grants are to be used for childcare and related travel expenses. In order to apply, submit a brief application that includes your status (faculty, postdoc, student, etc.), as well as your role in the conference (speaker, participant). Also include a short statement about your travel plans and a short description of the child care plan (or possible child care plan), i.e., tell us how you think the funds will be used. Applications, and any questions, should be emailed to Shannon Miller at email{asl@uconn.edu}. The deadline for applying is Friday, March 15, 2024.

Lactation room: There is a lactation room on the first floor of Carver Hall next to the women’s bathroom.

Brookside Park: This park has a playground featuring an old firetruck. It is located just east of the campus on 6th street.
